The City of Box Elder will be accepting sealed bids for sale of an approximately 1900 square foot wood-frame house. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 pm, Thursday September 30, 2021, at the Box Elder City Hall, 420 Villa Drive, Box Elder, South Dakota, 57719. The work shall consist of removal of the house in its entirety from its current location at 433 Line Road in Box Elder, SD. The bid is for the building only and does not include any land.
The Purchaser shall complete all Work as specified by June 1, 2022. The work is described as follows:
Purchase and removal of the wood-frame house located at 433 Line Road in Box Elder, SD.
The Owner and Purchaser hereby acknowledge that time is of the essence for the project and that the work shall be completed by the date indicated. If the work is not completed by the date indicated the Purchaser shall forfeit all funding provided for the purchase of the building.
Payment for the building purchase shall be a single lump sum payment at the completion of the project, based upon the actual quantities of each bid item installed per the Contract Documents.
