Description

The City of Knoxville is requesting submissions of proposals from responsible waste hauling companies to remove all material from the Solid Waste Transfer Facility located at 1033 Elm Street to a permitted landfill. The hauler would be required to meet all needs of the facility to remove the waste in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, the City is requesting that the waste hauler install a compactor at the Solid Waste Transfer Facility that can handle the compaction of construction and demolition debris in a bay currently used as an open top trailer system.
