RFP-MC-2010-024 - Workers' Compensation/Liability Third Party Administration Service

Bexar County (hereinafter referred to as “COUNTY”) is soliciting proposals from organizations (hereinafter referred to as “PROPOSER’) qualified to perform professional claims administration and/or provide safety consultation for the COUNTY’s self funded Workers’ Compensation and Liability Program. The scope of the work will encompass all aspects of COUNTY operations and requires extensive knowledge and experience across all lines of coverage. The information provided in the Request for Proposals (hereinafter referred to as “RFP”) is only to be used for the purpose of preparing a proposal in the areas of claims administration. The Contract term for third party claims administration shall be for a period of three (3) years, beginning on April 1, 2010 and ending on April 30, 2013. It is renewable for two (2) successive one (1) year terms, upon the same terms and conditions and subject to funding by the County’s Commissioners’ Court, unless terminated. Contract shall be reviewed prior to renewal and changes made by agreeing parties.
