IFB-2010-019 - Rental of Barricades and Temporary Taffic Items

Summary of Specifications:
Bexar Metropolitan Water District (“BexarMet” or “District”) is requesting sealed bids from qualified firms for delivering and setting up of rental barricades and traffic control items. The delivery and set up services will be on an “on-call” or “as-needed” basis to be consistent with the requirements listed in Section 2 of the IFB. The requirements list provided are non-exclusive and may be modified at any time at the sole discretion of BexarMet. BexarMet intends to award a contract to one or more contractor(s) for the annual rental of temporary traffic control warning devices for use on streets and highways by BexarMet maintenance and construction crews. All temporary traffic control warning devices must meet the specifications in the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices 2009 Edition, Part 6 – Temporary Traffic Control
