Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cedar Park is seeking the services of qualified engineering consultants for the development of Construction Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for the reconstruction of Anderson Mill Road from RM 1431 to approximately Lime Creek Road and from Zeppelin Drive to Cypress Creek Road. Anderson Mill Road between RM 1431 and Lime Creek Road is currently a two-lane roadway and is shown in the Transportation Master Plan to be reconstructed as an arterial roadway. Design of roadway improvements shall consist of a 4 lane arterial with a raised median, wide outside lanes, curb and gutter, drainage facilities, street lighting and traffic signal modifications. Anderson Mill Road from Zeppelin Drive to Cypress Creek Road is currently a two-lane roadway with a raised center median and is shown to be constructed as a 4-lane arterial roadway in the Transportation Master Plan. Design of roadway improvements through this section shall consist of the addition of a second lane in each direction with possible drainage modifications. Project development will include the preparation of schematics, all permitting, identification of utility conflicts, City utility adjustments, coordination with utility companies and attending of utility coordination meetings, public involvement, and any other items necessary to successfully develop the project. The City of Cedar Park will contract directly with an environmental consultant for environmental clearance of this project but coordination between the design consultant and environmental consultants will be required.
