Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cedar Park owns, operates and maintains the beautiful 90 acre Brushy Creek Lake Park, located at 3300 Brushy Creek Road in southeastern Cedar Park. When the park was opened almost ten years ago, it had promises of becoming one of the most popular public recreation venues in the area. Now, looking back, it has definitely fulfilled and exceeded those expectations. The park is extremely popular with the citizens of Cedar Park and the surrounding communities. As a result, the original facilities at the park must be expanded in order to try and meet the increasing need and demand of the park patrons. The City of Cedar Park is wanting to expand the existing restroom facilities, increase the parking capacity of the parking lots and provide better accessible facilities for canoes and kayaks on the lake. The City wishes to engage an A/E consulting firm/team to evaluate the park and facilities and provide designs and plans that will accomplish the following goals: Increase capacity of the existing restroom (add three facilities on each side to the existing facility count, and possibly add 1 family facility) Increase parking area for at least an additional 25 vehicles, preserving as many desirable trees as feasible Design an accessible boarding dock/platform for canoes and kayaks near the existing boat ramp
