The City of Cedar Park seeks the services of a qualified engineering firm for development of construction plans and specifications, production of estimates, and the delivery of support services, including inspection and construction management services, for the Pressure Zone #4 Elevated Water Tank Project (the “Project”).
The Project consists of construction of a 500,000 gallon elevated composite water storage tank in the City’s hydraulic pressure zone #4 to provide operational flexibility and additional storage. The construction of this tank is NOT in response to any regulatory directive or requirement. The proposed location of the tank will NOT be disclosed during the RFQ process.
Project scope will include (but not limited to):
⋅ Land and easement acquisition of approximately 2 acres
⋅ Cultural and environmental assessments
⋅ Preliminary analysis and design
⋅ Utility conflict analysis and resolution
⋅ Final analysis and design
⋅ Bid support services
⋅ Construction support services, including inspection services
Project development will also include surveying, all permitting, identification of easement and property requirements, property and easement acquisition, the identification of other utilities and conflicts, required utility adjustments, coordination with utility companies and outside agencies, conducting utility coordination meetings, and any other items necessary to successfully develop the project.
