Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids for the construction of the Brushy Creek Interceptor Phase II-A Project (IFB 12-10) will be received by the City of Hutto until 3:00 p.m. local time on July 27, 2012 at City Hall, 401 West Front Street, Hutto, Texas 78634, and shortly thereafter the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in City Hall.
In general, the work includes the furnishing of the labor, materials and equipment for the following as outlined in the Drawings and Project Manual: 1. Construction of approximately 1450 feet of 21-inch and 6080 feet of 24-inch Wastewater Interceptor. 2. Wastewater service line from Temple College site to proposed Interceptor. 3. Construction of a 42” Wastewater Interceptor by boring and casing under FM 685. 4. Construction of a 24” Wastewater Interceptor by boring and casing under SH 79 and the adjacent UPRR. 5. Regrading, revegetation, and restoration of site, and construction areas.
Bids shall be a firm lump sum basis totaled for each of the base bid items in the bid. Alternate bid items may also be included for consideration. Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders, payable to the City of Hutto, Texas, equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount.
