RFQ-RB-12-08 FM1660 S Sidewalk Improvements - RFQ 12-08 Engineering Design Services for FM 1660 S Improvements

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Hutto is soliciting sealed information from qualified firms to provide engineering design services for FM 1660 South Pedestrian Improvements. 

The City is in need of pedestrian and bicycle improvements on FM 1660 South. The limits of design will be determined in the preliminary design phase, but are intended to be from Evans Street to CR 137. There is currently no sidewalk along the roadway. FM 1660 South is TxDOT right-of-way and it is anticipated that the City will need to execute an agreement with TxDOT in order to construct the improvements within the right-of-way. No additional right-of-way need is anticipated. The City is allocating $500,000 to fund all activities related to the project including survey, engineering, landscape architecture, geotechnical investigation, and construction.
