1. PURPOSE: The City of Leander, herein after "City", seeks to enter into an agreement with a qualified Individual, Firm or Corporation, herein "Respondent", to provide services for the construction and delivery of Fire Station #5.
City is using the Competitive Sealed Proposal Method pursuant to Chapter 2269, Subchapter D of the Local Government Code to facilitate this project.

3. BACKGROUND AND FUNDING: The City of Leander Fire Department is expanding with it next station, Fire Station #5, a 12,326 Sq. Ft. design, located at 2800 Travisso Parkway, Leander TX 78641. Funding for Fire Station #5 is in place.
4. BUDGET: The City estimates the site development and construction budget for the project to be $5.7 million.
