NOTICE TO PROPOSERS
PROCUREMENT OF CIRCULAR CLARIFIER SLUDGE COLLECTOR EQUIPMENT
FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION PROJECT
The City of Pflugerville, Texas will be soliciting competitive sealed proposals for furnishing “Circular Clarifier Sludge Collector Equipment” to be installed by others as part of the upcoming Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion project, located at 15500 Sun Light Near Way, Pflugerville, TX 78660. The scope of supply includes suction header style, center pier collectors, drive mechanism, installation oversight, start-up and technical support services for a complete and functioning installation that meets the performance requirements specified in the procurement documents. The Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion project shall be executed in two (2) phases, and proposals shall include clarifier equipment for both phases. Sealed proposals addressed to the City of Pflugerville, ATTN: Sabrina Schmidt, will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the City of Pflugerville City Hall, 100 East Main, Suite 100, Pflugerville, Texas 78660 at which time they will be publicly opened and the cost proposal read aloud in Suite 500. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting for the project will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 by conference call at (469) 206-8447, code 69756842. Although this is a mandatory pre-proposal meeting, all questions are required to be submitted through the http://www.texasbidsystem.com webpage.
The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Pflugerville may require, to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities in proposals received. The right is also reserved to eliminate a portion of the work or add additional work as required to keep the total contract amount within the funds budgeted. The City also has the right to award any parts or combination of parts of the project it deems necessary.
