The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids for:
Solicitation Number: IFB 223-025 Hills of Hays Drainage Improvements IFB
Project Scope: Construction improvements including new underground storm sewer systems, stormwater inlets, curbs and gutters, modification of the existing stormwater detention basin, and construction of an off-site drainage channel. The project will also require the reconstruction of some driveways and modification to some utility systems. The total estimated construction cost is $2,140,892.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on January 3, 2023, 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Access instructions to the pre-bid video conference can be located at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement.
Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than January 26, 2023, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconference. Instructions for access to the videoconference can be located at the top of the www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement site.
Award is tentatively scheduled for the March 7, 2023, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m.
