The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:
Solicitation Number: IFB 223-260 E. Aquarena Springs Dr. Reconstruction IFB
Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to the construction of asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, storm sewer system, and pavement markings and signage along E. Aquarena Springs Drive from IH 35 Northbound Frontage Road to River Road. The estimated construction cost for this project, including bid alternative 1 is $874,133.01.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on May 23, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to video conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.
Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than June 20, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Requests for access to the videoconference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the bid opening.
Award is scheduled for the August 5, 2024, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
