Solicitation Number: RFP 223-269 SCADA San Marcos Utilities (SMTXU)

The San Marcos Utilities – Electric Department (SMTXU) is looking for a state-of-the-art SCADA system that will help the utility embrace Smart Grid technologies and allow the utility to better serve customers. This system will need to be able to see and control our local grid in real time, store data for future planning needs, and through coordination with other solutions, be able to help reduce outage times for our customers.
Proposals must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than October 19, 2023, 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Proposals will be publicly acknowledged via videoconference immediately thereafter at the City of San Marcos, Building 4 Conference Room, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666. Attendance of the acknowledgment is available by online video conference. You may submit a request at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement to attend the videoconference.
Award is tentatively scheduled for the December 19, 2023, City Council meeting at 6:00 P.M.
