The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:
Solicitation Number: IFB 224-003 Street Overlay IDIQ IFB
Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to the provisions of milling, preparation, and application of hot mixed asphalt concrete (HMAC) as required over miscellaneous City streets as identified by the Owner and executed utilizing multiple IDIQ work orders as necessary with all contract plans, specification, and contract requirements. The total construction volume is estimated to be $2,500,000.00.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on July 30, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to video conference must be submitted to SRobertson@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid video conference.
Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than August 29, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via video conferencing. Video conference link is provided in solicitation documents.
Award is scheduled for the September 17, 2024, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
