IFB-23-058 - FM 3407 Water & Wastewater Improvements Project

Scope of the Project: Scope of the Project: This project consists of relocation of City water and wastewater utilities along Wonder World Drive between I-35 and Corporate Drive, to prepare for a TXDOT roadway widening project. The project includes construction of approximately 3,166 feet of 16-inch water line; 214 linear feet of 12-inch water line; 320 linear feet of 8-inch water line; 120 linear feet of 6-inch water line; 949 linear feet of 12-inch gravity wastewater line; and 683 linear feet of 8-inch gravity wastewater line. Also included are 210 linear feet of 26-inch bore and steel encasement and 129 linear feet of 18-inch bore and steel encasement, plus 10 linear feet of 18-inch steel encasement installed by open-cut; fire hydrants; air release valves; wastewater manholes; and re-connection of existing water and wastewater services. Construction limits will be mainly in easements to be acquired by the City, with limited work in right-of-way. The project is in an established commercial-industrial area of San Marcos, Texas, and is located outside of the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone. Time will be of the essence in construction of this project.
