Description

The City of San Marcos (City), is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) from qualified firms for the purpose of providing a contract for Fiber Optic Installation, Repair & Maintenance on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (“IDIQ”) basis.
The scope of work for this contract includes, but is not limited to the provision of Fiber Optic Installation, Repair, & Maintenance IDIQ, CSP 220-253 for the Information Technology Department. The City may issue multiple IDIQ Work Orders as necessary, in accordance with all contract plans, specifications, and contract requirements.

The successful Proponent will perform an annual fiber inspection on the entire fiber plant, perform routine and after-hours repair and maintenance including, but not limited to, tree trimming, responding to emergency calls, installing new giver installation, and fiber removal/replacement, per work order requests.

The City anticipates the annual estimated amount of this contract to be $700,000 or $2,100,000 for the full three-years of the contract term.
