RFQ #2024-2 - City of Taylor Wellness/Recreation Center Feasibility Study

The City of Taylor will solicit and receive Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms interested in providing professional consultation services The Consultant(s) is cautioned to refer to other sections of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) packet for further details.

The need for an indoor recreation facility has been an identified community need as early as 2004. In 2010, the City of Taylor went out for a bond election to construct a recreation facility to be operated by the YMCA and the election failed.  Staff believes that the need for this type of facility has grown exponentially since 2010 and recommends this study to reengage the community in this discussion. 

 Bids can hand delivered or mailed to the City of Taylor City Hall, Attn: Purchasing Agent, 400 Porter St, Taylor, TX 76574 by March 4, 2024 @ 2:00PM.  All documents and specifications may only be downloaded @ https://www.bidnetdirect.com/texas.  It is the bidder’s responsibility to check the website for any issuance of addendums.
