The City of Weslaco is soliciting a Statement of Qualification (herein after “SOQ”) from experienced firms for professional services for planning, design, engineering, and construction engineering for proposed lift station improvements to Lift Station #1, #12 and improvements to the north wastewater treatment plant. Lift Station #1 is located at the intersection of E 1st St and S Garza St. The lift station is located at the site of what was the City of Weslaco’s first wastewater treatment facility. The existing lift station must be replaced in full.  Lift station #12 is located on N Utah Ave, south of Pike Blvd on the east side.  The lift station requires improvements to the wet well and pump upsizing and/or possible replacement. The influent well at the existing north wastewater treatment plan must be replaced. The north wastewater treatment plant is located on N Airport Dr just north of IH-2 and Haggars St.
