RFI-BM-15-027 - E-Book District Management

Summary of Specifications:
The request has been issued to allow the San Antonio Independent School District (hereafter referred to as the “District”) to obtain information for planning purposes related to an E-Book District Management System, including system integration services, and technologies that support E-Book formats, and strategies designed to optimize access to E-Book collections within the District. With limited in-house resources, the implementation of the system must be a turnkey installation with the capability to import data. The District does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the response to this RFI, to otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted, or for the District’s use of such information. The District may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a District-wide E-Book Management Solution within the next 6 months. The District currently uses the Internet-based Texas Computer Cooperative Software (iTCCS) hosted by the Education Service Center, Region 20.
