IFB17121516 - Interstate Highway 10 (I.H.10) Sanitary Sewer Relocation Contract

Sealed bids, for furnishing all labor, material and equipment and performing all work required for the construction of the INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 10 (I.H. 10) SANITARY SEWER RELOCATION for the San Antonio River Authority, addressed to the San Antonio River Authority, 100 E. Guenther Street, San Antonio, Texas, 78204 (P.O. Box 839980, San Antonio, Texas, 78283-9980) will be received until 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017, at the Authority's office reception area, at which time they will be publicly opened and read at the Authority's office board room. Any bid received after the time set for the opening thereof will be returned to the bidder unopened.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Martinez II WWTP located at 1720 FM 1516 N, Converse, TX 78109.

The INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 10 (I.H. 10) SANITARY SEWER RELOCATION project consists of the relocation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of 21-inch Sanitary Sewer line from TxDOT right-of-way (ROW) into a new SARA owned sewer easement outside of the TxDOT ROW, including abandonment and grout-filling of the existing sewer line and manholes, site restoration and associated appurtenances.

All bids shall be accompanied by a Cashier's or Certified Check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, payable to the San Antonio River Authority, or an acceptable bid bond in the same amount, as a guarantee that bidder will enter into a contract and furnish performance and payment bond and labor and materials payment bond on the forms provided within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of contract to him.

The successful bidder must furnish performance bond and payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from a surety company acceptable to the San Antonio River Authority.

The San Antonio River Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety- days (90) after the date on which they are opened.
