Description

Davis School District Professional Services Selection Committee seeks a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Construction Management / General Contractor (CM/GC) services for the Auxiliary Turf and Track projects. One Cm/Gc will be selected to do a turf and track project at two different sites.

All questions and answers regarding this project are to be posted on Bidnet.com.

A mandatory walk-through will be held January 22, 2025 at 9am at Centerville Junior High, 625 S Main, Centerville. Meet at the main entrance of the school. When we are done at Centerville Jr, we will go to Shoreline Junior High, 1150 S Westside Drive, Layton. A representative from each contractor must attend and sign in at both locations to be considered.

Proposals, including a management plan, references, and statements of qualifications, must be uploaded (in pdf format) to www.bidnetdirect.com by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 January 2025. Additional times and dates are listed on the Project Schedule.

The Professional Services Selection Committee will conduct a two-step selection process.

Step One will evaluate the submitted responses.
Step Two will evaluate fee proposals. Due at the time of the response, the contractor will submit their fee proposal in a separate file via BidNet.

The contractor for the project must be a Utah Licensed General Contractor. Davis School District will enter into an agreement for the project with the successful Contractor.

The Davis School District Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the best interest of the district.

The Fee Proposal Form is located on the last page of the RFP.
Step Two is the evaluation of the fee proposal and will result in thirty percent (30%) of the total score. The formula is as follows =(1-(Total Fees/FLCC))*30 cost points
The cost score will be based on the total fees and the FLCC of $6,000,000. The total fees are the sum of the Pre-Construction Fee, Construction Management Fee, Bond Cost, and Total Construction Supervision Cost. The supervision costs are calculated based on a construction time frame of approx. 5 months multiplied by the monthly supervision cost.
