Purpose of RFP . The higher education institutions located in Utah, hereafter referred to as the "Participating Entities or Participants" seeks proposals from qualified vendors to establish non-exclusive contracts for the provision of Laboratory Research and Development products and services for use by the Participants in research and laboratory settings, including for use on human participants of research or for patient diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical use. Awarded vendors must have the capability to provide laboratory research and development products and services in the categories defined in the scope of work.
The University’s intent is to establish contracts with qualified firms for Laboratory Research and Development Goods and Services to aid the University in achieving its goals. This RFP will cover a broad spectrum of Laboratory Research and development Products and Services to increase scientific knowledge, explore potential of scientific discoveries and improve scientific technology. It is our intent to streamline the contracting process, obtain the best possible pricing, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and University requirements and policies, reduce administrative burden, reduce costs and risks, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
This RFP is designed to provide interested vendors with sufficient basic information to submit proposals. This RFP is not intended to limit a proposal’s content or exclude any relevant or essential data. Vendors are at liberty and are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to evidence service capability.
Submission requires the completion of the "Vendor Response Form" and attaching applicable price lists, discount matrices, and redlines (if any are requested) to the sample Government Entity Addendum.
