NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for furnish and deliver sixteen (16) complete advanced oxidation process (AOP) water treatment systems to Suffolk County Water Authority, Oakdale, Town of Islip, NY, will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on January 7, 2021, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. You may also register your company on our website at www.scwa.com and/or www.empirestatebidsystem.com and request "More Info" on Contract No. 7739.
Whereas the Suffolk County Water Authority (Authority) has submitted an application for Water Infrastructure Investment Act (WIIA) funding, the attached specifications pertaining to required Davis-Bacon Act and MBE/WBE requirements are hereby made a part of this contract. Bidders must comply with the terms as described in Contract 7739. Bidders are required to submit the documentation required as per the Davis-Bacon Act and MBE/WBE; failure to submit the documentation will result in rejection of your bid.
The Authority will conduct a virtual pre-bid meeting. Scheduled for December 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Prospective bidders are required to confirm their intent to attend by submitting an email to the Director of Purchasing: Marlon.Torres@scwa.com. The Director will then send you an email with the information and link for you to join the meeting at the set time as noted above. There will be no Face to Face Meeting due to COVID-19 safety protocols, This meeting is mandatory, failure to attend will result in rejection of your Bid.
