NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA), a public benefit corporation based in Oakdale, seeks proposals for Inspection Services for Authority Pipeline and Road Restoration Projects at various locations within SCWA’s service area.
Complete details relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of the Purchasing Department, of the Suffolk County Water Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739 where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. You may also register your company on our website and request “More Info” on RFP 1516
Deadline for submission - 3 copies and (1) USB type flash drive of your proposal shall be delivered to SCWA, Purchasing Department, 3525 Sunrise Hwy, Great River, NY 11739, not later than March 19, 2018, 12:00 p.m., EST. Facsimiles or emails of unsealed proposals will not be accepted under any circumstances.
The Authority has scheduled a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for all prospective Bidders intending to submit a proposal, to discuss the specifications / requirements of the RFP and to address questions relating to the work. The meeting is scheduled for March 8, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the SCWA Purchasing Department, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739. Failure to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting is sufficient cause for rejection of your bid. Please send an email to Marlon Torres, Director of Purchasing, at marlon.torres@scwa.com to confirm your attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting.
The Suffolk County Water Authority anticipates the approval of an application for WIIA Grant funding through EFC for a proposed pipeline project, the attached specifications pertaining to required Davis-Bacon Act and MBE/MWE requirements are hereby made a part of this contract, Attachment A. For this RFP and funded work, bidders must comply with the terms as described in the EFC bid packet.
