NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That Sealed Proposals for the Installation of New Water Service Lines and Reconnection of Service Lines (Tie-Overs), for the Suffolk County Water Authority for the Period June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022, will be received by the Purchasing Director, Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739, no later than 11:00AM, April 1, 2021, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. In addition, Bids will be accepted electronically, prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.
Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login into the following websites www.scwa.com; or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york . Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.
Apprenticeship Agreement: The Suffolk County Water Authority requires, pursuant to New York Labor Law Section 816-b, all Contractors and Subcontractors shall have, apprenticeship agreements appropriate for the type and scope of work to be performed under this Contract, that are registered with and approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor pursuant to the requirements of New York Labor Law Article 23. Evidence of such agreements for both contractors and subcontractors, if any, must be submitted with the bid.
Details relating to the proposed work are also on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of the Purchasing Department, of the Suffolk County Water Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739 where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application.
