NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for the painting, minor maintenance and repairs of elevated tanks, standpipes, reservoirs and pressure vessels at various Authority-owned properties for the period April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2019 (with option to extend), will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk
County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on March 8, 2018 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. You may also register your company on our website at www.scwa.com and/or www.empirestatebidsystem.com and request "More Info" on Contract No. 7507.
The Engineer will meet with prospective Bidders at 10:00 a.m., February 28, 2018 for a pre-bid meeting at the Albany Avenue Well Field, Pump Station and Elevated Tank site, located on the northeast corner of Albany Avenue and 45th Street, North Amityville, Town of Babylon. It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting.
Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid.
