NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for Snow Removal Services at Various SCWA Sites for the period November 1, 2017 to April 30, 2018, will be received by the Purchasing Director, Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739, no later than 11:00AM, August 29, 2017, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk through has been scheduled to begin at our Coram location 2045 Rt. 112, Coram, NY then will proceed to our Hauppauge (260 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY) and Huntington (131 Spring Road, Huntington NY) locations. Meeting should take approximately 2 hours, on August 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., accompanied by an Authority representative. Each prospective bidder must attend the meeting and walk through if they intend to bid. Please call 631-563-0322 and arrange to attend. Failure to comply with this requirement will be deemed sufficient cause for rejection of proposal.
Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login in to the following websites www.scwa.com; www.nyscr.ny.gov or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.
Details relating to the proposed work are also on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of the Purchasing Department, of the Suffolk County Water Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739 where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application.
